About me

My name is Mat Grove, when I was younger I made many websites for various uses from online brochures to a complete Internet search engine. I used a variety of languages to produce the sites, including Java Script, Java, ASP, Perl, HTML, DHTML, PHP and SQL.

After spending time making websites for other people I decided it was about time to do one for me. I didn't know what to the site on though, I tried to think about what interested me most, so I turned the music down so I could think...

The website went live as burntout.com in 1998 (although I started it a couple of years earlier when I was 16 hosting it at various free providers). Although it has been updated over the years to take advantage of modern website implementation techniques the content has, and will always remain unchanged. This site is snapshot in time, and represents what I thought a Nirvana website should be like.
